What is the name of your state? Virginia

I had a small business with a partner 7 years ago. She dissolved the corporation, but still has it. I know my attorney told me at the time that the name needed to change if she was to continue in the same business. Even though in court she told the judge she had change the name of her business, she never took down the sign which cost the company $2500. and has used the name for 7 years. Can I sue her for 1/2 the money she has made in the last 7 years? Or is there a statute of limitations concerning time?
The main question is can I win the lawsuit?
