What is the name of your state? Oregon

in a joint living trust it appears that when one dies the revocable trust then becomes irrevocable according to the language in ours.

in a situation where both grantors are also the trustees my question is, can the surviving trustee (spouse) still manage the assets in the trust such as sell a car, or house, or is he/she trapped so to speak, as well as the assets, in an irrevocable trust?

What about a successor trustee such as another family member or a bank?

thanks for any help
