What is the name of your state? PA

I am a Plantiff in the case where I'm suing my mortgage company for some fees they were suppose to refund to me but didn't (got plenty of evidence, all in writing, have been told that my case in very cut and dry and I will most likely be awarded).

It has just been brought to my attention through a co-worker of mine that one (myself) can actually add expenses related to the case such as gas money, lost wages and then the controversial issue of time lost and frustration organizing the case. REALLY!Have any of you heard about this? I must say it's news to me, especially since I've been told not to add interest to my claim. So am I actually allowed to add everything else? Please confirm this for me.

Well, anyhow, the case has been filed and the hearing is this Wed. Is it too late to add anything now ( I think it is) and can I say something to the Judge when I'm on the stand that will make him award me the misc. or do I file separetely? Can I just sue for the misc. in a separate case? Hmmm...

Lastly, I am bringing a witness with me. Do I introduce this witness when I'm on the stand or before?

Thank you everyone.
PS. I like some of your humor.

*** Your co-worker is wrong. You cannot recover your normal costs, especially as the plaintiff. Simply, those are costs you (should have) considered when filing the suit.

"I've been told not to add interest to my claim."
*** Post-judgment interest can be argued in court and if granted, included in the judgment.

"So am I actually allowed to add everything else?"
*** No.

"Lastly, I am bringing a witness with me. Do I introduce this witness when I'm on the stand or before?"
*** That depends entirely on what the witness is going to present to the court.

Thanks for asking. Well, I won. However, the judge didn't even want to consider adding anything extra to my claim, such as compensation for lost wages, etc. Ok, maybe I can understand that. But I was dissapointed to find out that the Judge didn't add interest to the amount I was seeking. Now I'm having minor regrets:Should I have asked for it? The judge did "warn" me that the company I'm suing might appeal the verdict so I guess I will see what happens and then probably post soem questions about the appeal process, which I know nothing about. Unless someone wants to give me heads up. I will read up on some latest posts as well. Thanks for your help.

*** PA has a statutory judgment interest of 6% per annum until paid. Check back with the court and have them confirm that the final judgment documentation will include this STATUTORY interest.
