my girlfriend is divorced, BUT the equitable distribution has not been settled. Her ex got re-married after the divorce and was found DEAD 2 weeks after his 2nd marriage. There are two houses that were in her and her ex's name. She is the one who left her ex, and was not living there. He was renting the houses. So who gets the rent now? And more importantly how does she get her name off the mortgage for the houses???
