who has legal rights to home

What is the name of your state? nc when my husband and i divorced about a year and ahalf ago,we agreed he could stay in the home.our divorce papers state we had settled marital assets issues between us.he was recently arrested for sexually abusing my daughter for 6 years and will be spending a lot of time in prison.i recently found out he didnt take me off the papers for our house.i was told i am still legally responsible for payment of the home.does this mean i can demand that the home be sold and the loan paid off?
