What is the name of your state? NY
Hello, if anyone could point in the right direction I would appreciate it. I am in the process of obtaining a federal writ. But before I file I need to know what forms I need it order to comply. Is it any different from a civil judgment in small claims court? If anyone knows where i get my questions answers (website, phone number to call, etc..)

Thank you

**A: you would not pursue such in small claims court since small claims is a state court and not a federal court. Next, we have no idea as to what your circumstances are and your "federal writ" issue.

federal writ- questions

Sorry for the confusion.

I am a judgment recovery specialist and all of my judgments have been from state courts. This is my first federal judgment that I will be taking over. My questions are:

Will the Acknowledgment of Assignment of Judgment form be the same one I use for state courts? If not where would I go to get the appropriate forms? Are there other forms that need to file besides the Acknowledgment of Assignment of Judgment?

Since this Judgment was awarded to the Judgment Creditor in another state from my present locatation will that cause any problems?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Christine
