What is the name of your state? Wy

A few days ago I contacted the executor of my mother's will/trust by e-mail and told him that I would like to obtain a copy of her will and to either call me or write me back. So far it's been 3 days and I haven't heard any reply. I'm going to wait a week and if I still don't hear from him, I will call him personally. My question is since he hasn't responded yet, will it cost me anything to receive the copy?

No one knows here what the executor will do. However, you have other options.

Call the courthouse in the county where your mother died and ask them for a copy of the will. Since there is an executor the will will need to be probated and filed at the courthouse.

It will usually cost $1 per page.
