What is the name of your state? Florida
On Dec. 15th, 2003 I started an L.L.C. and applied for a FEIN for a business I was buying. Long story short, the deal never happened, and now I have an LLC and a FEIN that I have no use for.
Since this business was never opened, I collected no money (therefore owing no taxes) and have no debts. I am the only listed officer (president) of the LLC.
My questions are:
1) what do I need to do to dissolve this LLC and eliminate my FEIN number?
2) Will having an LLC and FEIN have any implications on my personalfederal taxes for 2003 (since even though I had the business technically, I never opened or did any business). Or can I just file my personal tax return as usual.
