What is the name of your state? Indiana

I won a small Claims Case in 1991, but haven't recieved any money yet. Every year I try to go back and get my money but, the judge tells us to work out payment. My Ex claims since 2001 to not have a job therefore I can't garnish her wages. The court states that they do not check if she really does have a job or not and I have to trust her. Is there a way to verify that she has worked since 2001 or not? Do you have any suggestions how else to get my judgement? Thanks.

The Judgement amount

The judgement was for right around 2,000.00 but like I said that was ordered in 2001. Thanks.

Jessica, the court does not enforce or collect this judgment for you. That is something that YOU have to do. There are several statutory remedies available to help you including execution and/or garnishment.

If you now where the debtor works, you can garnish his/her wages. Or you can contact the court and ask for papers to start the 'execution' process against the debtor.
Finally, if you are still lost, you can contact a judgment enforcement specialist at:
