What is the name of your state? Tn.

if you purchase a couple of beauty items from an independent consultant from their home from another state & you have had numerous email/phone conversations about the price, etc.& then after you receive the pkg. they want you to buy more & more because they have a sad story of family finance problems & they're about to lose their home because of mold, etc.& you can't afford to do this & tell them this becuse you're not able to work g & have a disability so you marked the pkg. "return to sender" & send it back via mail & tell them to leave you alone, then 5 months later they send an email stating pay $147 to them or their taking you to small claims court in your state & they live in another & it will benefit you to go ahead & pay the $147 & avoid court costs,etc...can they do this if everything was returned to sender & you requested them to leave you alone & they continue to send emails?

if you are willing to go to court, there are some actions you can take. it will in the long run cost you more money than a 147.but not much more due to missed work for court ,serving fees and court fees.this is a way to scare people into paying her.1) you need to send her a letter stateing you sent it back.save this letter.2)Save all emails3) wait till she sues you it will aiso cost her money court is not free4) then counter sue for any lost or distress. If she lives in another state she has to prove you intered a contract in that state and the package needs a # inorder for her to win to prove she sent it to you and if it has a # and you did send it back it is traceable your safe.If she is a bissiness report her to bbb.this will help.i do not know about your stste but in Ca if they send it to your house with out payment it is their lost.
