A couple friends of mine want to start an LLC, and would like to know where to go o start. To learn about the legal spects, etc. Thanks!

Have you tried Barnes & Noble? I know they have a crapload of books on the subject.

google for "california sba" turns this nice link as the first hit:

They'll have all the information you need.

The local B&N doesn't have anything. And I didn't think to check the Nolo site, as much as I love Nolo.
