I threatened to sue my ex-girlfriend if she didn't honor a contract she signed to return some items and pay back a loan. She countered with a threat to sue me for money she claims I owe here for the time we were living together. If/When it comes to court, what do I do, keeping in mind I never signed anything.

Please help.

Then file in small claims court against her and let her explain to the judge why her claim that you owe her money without a contract to validate her claim should be heard.

thank you very much...

now the question is, should/can i file before the due date, 2/20, to not look like i'm countersuing and to make sure she pays, or wait until then, cause shes saying i owe her on the same date.

i dont want to have to do any of this, but i also dont want her to reverse it on me, even though she has no proof i owe her anything, and its disputable that i do, but im worried about how the court will look at all this.
