What is the name of your state? Florida

mother-in-law died in florida left 1/2 of estate, living trust, to son and 1/2 to daughter, my wife. son was trustee, he paid himself his half but refused to pay sisters half. settlement agreement was signed, he breached it, sister sued him as trustee and personally for fraud since he had forced mother to sign over $150,000.00 in gov bonds 12 days before death, she was on oxycondin and morhpine with hospice...he paid all his legal fees out of sister's half of trust. was this legal??? repeat...was this legal????

And do you know why? Because we don't have the trust documents in front of us to study.

Go see a Probate attorney and ask this question. But make sure you have a copy of the trust documents and any other documents whereby the court appointed the son as trustee.

It was a boiler plate living trust..nothing unusual at all......does that help you?
Not really.

There's not just one boiler plate that exists in the entire world...

I'd listen to Hex...
