i reside in WI. My husband left us in October.
We (I) have 2 foster children which are siblings. Bio mother and I have a good connection. Foster son who is 19 mos. has been out of home since he was 3 months. She is looking to give me either guardianship or to voluntarily tpr. Guardians and county are saying it will be tough for me to adopt now that I am going thru a divorce and financial reasons.
How do they know that a married couple will not divorce 6 months after they would adopt. nothing is secure.? I have been his one stable factor. Any thoughts on how I should proceed. Can I do this?
Bio mom wants me to care for him and I can't imagine my life without him!!!!!!
