What is the name of your state? IN
Say you're seeing a therapist...and that therapists, after say, 30-40 sessions ... loses a complete record of your treatment, including detailed session notes, diagnosis, etc... highly personal information at any rate. (loses in a way that it's not clear if its just lost, stolen, etc.).
Then, that therapists, a long with his supervisors, take action to conceal that the treatment record has been lost, that they didn't fully protect the information -- and only told 6 months later because you started to suspect something was wrong.
Say the same therapists, also breaks privilage by talking about you and your treatment with others...
What kind of torts does all that fall into?
