What is the name of your state? pennsylvania
I have recently moved out of a "friends " house after residing there for 5 1/2 months. She is refusing to return some of my personal property and refuses to answer any phone calls. The house that she resides in titled to her step father-in-law and mother, not her. What recourse do I have to get the remainder of my things or does she have the legal right refuse me entry to the property eventhough she is a tenant herself ( her parents refuse to put the deed in her name ) who offered me a place to stay. Could I legally get a police escort into the property and get the remainder of my things some of which have a high senitimental value. She receives public assitance only, so taking her to court would surely end with her still owing me money and damaging my things and since her name isn't on the deed she has nil by way of assests. I appreciate any information.
Thank you
