We were hammered with ajudgement of back c/s and back alimony. the judge combined the two into one sum of c/s. Refusing to separate the two when requested. Do we have the right to appeal the case. Ive done alot of internet research on our situation which goes much deeper than this. However the case was refuse on the motion to vacate and the judge decided to stay on the matter,in mid march 2000. the problem is our previous attorney took all our savings. Are appeals expensive and do I still have time. Does anyone know of an attorney of reasonable fees. I am from Illinois.
