What is the name of your state? TX

I won a wage claim against my employer and now he is suing me. I received the suit in the mail but it did not contain a citation with the district court and case number. What constitutes proper service of a lawsuit?

Additional info

I forgot to ask if there is a timeframe after the suit is filed in which they have to serve the defendants.

Thank you.
