is it true that if someone has an order for protection against you, and you are required by a court in a different state to send a certified copy of a court document to them, and you send it, that you have violated the order for protection?
a judge in NY ruled that it was in violation of the order and extended the previous one year order (which was totally uncalled for in the first place) to 3 years.
is there anything my friend can do to get this order for protection canceled. or at least the addition of 2 more years? is what this judge did legal??
