I pay 50 dollers child support a month...the minimum aloud by law in my home state. I pay this by the 15th of the month every month. I have never sent it after this date. My x husband is filing contempt charges stating that I pay on a irregular basis. My question is am I contempt??? I have never missed a payment or been passed the 15th of the month.
What will I have to prove...that I pay???

My response:

As long as you have proof of payment; e.g., paid by check and not in cash, then your ex has an uphill battle. Is there any "truth" in what is being said in the court papers? Is this the only problem being questioned in the court papers?
