My son received a traffice ticket in GA for driving on an expired license plate. We live in NC. He has to go to court in GA. Is there a way for him to just pay the fine by mail (or some other means) without going down there since he is planning on pleading no contest

Thanks,

Most states allow you to plead guilty and pay fine by mail. If the ticket doesn't show the fine amount, call the court and ask. Then, be sure that the guilty plea and fine are received by the court BEFORE the scheduled hearing date.
