Recently, an aquaintance of mine was arrested for poss. for sale of drugs, and poss. of drugs (heroin and meth). He was riding a bike near his home when a group of police officers detained, searched, and questioned him. The aquaintance did not consent to a search of his persons, however the police had a search warrant and affidavit. The drugs were found, and the police escorted the aquaintance, down the block, back to his home. At the home were three individuals, including myself, whom were all immediatly hand-cuffed and questioned. The police suspected that we were under the influence of a controlled substance, thus leading to various sobriety tests, and ultimately an arrest for the suspected crime. All four individuals were taken to jail, where blood tests took place. Basically I felt the search to be invalid for the three individuals at the home because the search warrant did not specify any of the persons, nor any of the charges.
