What is the name of your state?I've had a business deal with an individual in British Columbia Canada turn south. Since I'm in the US, do I have the ability to take any legal action against this individual (small claims)? ...Not sure if US small claims are respected by Canadian law...or would I have to file with a Canadian court?

Any thoughts would help.
