How to go about have a drug charge expunged

What is the name of your state? North Carolina. In 1982 or 1983 my roommate had me pick up 3 hits of acid for her. I paid the person $4.00 a piece for each one. She had her boyfriend to reimburse me the $12.00. Four months later I found out that her boyfriend was a SBI agent and I had been setup. I was arrested and charged with possession with intent to sell. I plead guilty and was placed on five years probation with community service. That has been over twenty years ago. I have just finished a degree in education and would like to know how I could have this matter expunged before I start applying for jobs.
