I am located in California, moving next month to Florida. I am an assault & battery victim and was granted a civil judgment. I paid thousands and thousands in an attempt to collect, but the debtor successfully moved money around and put it under other's names. This person has now moved to Canada. I know bank account and employer information but cannot afford to put thousands back into chasing this loser. Is there any way I can receive low cost help or attempt this myself? I am assuming this US order would need to be made a Canadian one? I am simply not having any luck getting a response from the courts in Toronto.
