When i got pulled over, the cops found some beer that belonged to my friend. No one claimed the alcohol, so being the driver, I got charged with the MIP, is it possible to get that friend to confess to the alochol, and say I didnt know about it, so he gets charged and not me or something like that.

It won't do any good to have your friend confess to anything. You are responsible for the passengers and contents in your vehicle.
