What is the name of your state? CA

In addition to the $1593/mth in child support I’ve been ordered to pay 27% of any bonus amount over my normal base. Any overtime that I may work is also included in this “27% of any bonus.”
The only bonus I receive is once a year for a team award and there is no guarantee that we will get it. Need help.. I’m really confused how my overtime (if any) is considered a bonus.

Is OT considered bonus pay?

Thank you.

If this is word for word what the decree says then I'm going to assume that 4710$ is what your base rate is a month. So each month anything over that is considered a bonus. Course I have to ask.. What the heck were you doing consenting to this? You need to put in Child Support Guidelines for California in your search engine and study up. You're a bit screwed as you CONSENTED already but at least you will know when there is enough time for modification.
