Crime commited as juvenile

I am not from the US.

If a crime is commited when somebody is a juvenile but are no longer juvenile, are they tried as an audlt or juvenile?

I am from New Zealand.

Then how do you expect an answer when this forum is about U.S. law only. There is no one here who is licensed to practice law in New Zealand.

Do a search on google for "new zealand law forum" because any advice you get here would be useless.
