My son, who will be a high school senior next year, will turn 18 in two weeks. He has become a defiant, stealing, drug user. When he turns 18 can I kick him out of my house and assume no legal responsibility for his actions.

As long as there isn't a child support order in place stating you pay support until he finishes school, yup. Buy him some luggage as a parting gift.
