I received a speeding ticket for 69 in a 55 a little while ago, and my initial court date (the "Guilty or wait some more for another date-court date") is on Tuesday (6/8). I just realized today that the officer who gave me the citation never asked me to sign it in any way (there is a place for me to sign), nor did he mention it in passing.
Is this enough to get the ticket dismissed, or should I just go to driving school like I was planning on doing?
