I live in cali. My cousin went into a 7-11 with two friends, the third stayed in the car. friend #1 went to the register and told the worker to give him what's in the register. my cousin and the other guy just stood there, did or said nothing. and then proceeded to flee with everyone. what should he do, he dosnt want to 'rat" out his friend but if he dosnt he will be charged with the same thing as everyone else.the public defenders dont come to the jail, they talk to you in front of the judges, and that dosnt seem fair to me.he cant afford a lawyer, does anyone have any suggestions as to what we should do. thank you ahead of time.

He is up shiits creek without a paddle. He is just as guilty of the robbery as the guy who took the money. He may get some leniency from the DA if he gives up his friends, but its his choice to cooperate.

If you think it will help, get all of your family together and hire a private attorney for your cousin.
