What is the name of your state? mich.
The divorce was finalized and I recieved physical custady of the children. There were also the settlement terms, and a statement that neither party has any future rights to each others property or belongings. Later we reconciled, I temporarily suspended support payments and I bought a new house in my name only. She did contribute to a portion of the down payment (about 25%) but never contributed to any of the payments. Later we split-up and she moved out. I am now trying to get support reinstated. The judge ordered an abatement on support payments until her monies are paid off.
Question 1. Can the abatement be ordered under these circumstances or is this a seperate court issue, if so how do I appeal.
2. Does she have any legal right to my home.
3. If so, who would have to pay for the refianancing or real estate sale fees.
