What is the name of your state? California

Hubby got a ticket for driving on the shoulder of the freeway. He freely admits his guilt, and until now has NEVER had a moving violation.

Here's the thing--they offered to allow him to attend traffic school, and he's willing to attend, but hubby is a roadie (he travels and works for bands) and will not be back in the state until approximately Christmas. There's one more hitch in this--his drivers license is up for renewal June 30, and the ticket must be taken care of by July 1.

Is there any way to pay the traffic school payment and allow hubby to take the class when he returns home in Dec???
