What is the name of your state? California. I was wrongfully accused and charged when I was a juvenile and a finding was made with 707(b) offense (assault with a deadly weapon - golf club) almost nine years ago. Couple of months ago, I tried to have my record seal but the judge denied my request because a 707(b) cannot be seal in California. I was wondering if my employer do an background check on me, will it show on the background check report? I have did some research and majority of them says no, some says yes. I am confused here. So my question is will my unsealable juvenile record will show on a background check? And does a regular background check differ from a background check run by department of justice and FBI? Thanks.
