What is the name of your state? New York
I was cited for disobeying a Do Not Enter Except Busses sign. The ticket has been incorrectly filled out in 3 ways:
1) The Year of my vehicle is improperly shown on ticket ('98 instead of '05)
2) The description of the traffic infraction was manually written out, even though the form instructions say to use this space only if a check box doesn't exist below the description box. There *is* a provision to check off the word "Sign" under DISOBEY TRAFF CONT DEV category
3) The officer signed only using her last name, and printed her last name, rather than following the instruction to show "Rank/Full Signature of Complaintant" and "Complaintant's Full Name (Printed)
Normally, a parking ticket can be dismissed with defects such as this. Does the same apply to traffic violations?
