What is the name of your state?CA

Is there a quit deed claim for a car after divorce? If not a quit deed claim, then is there something similar that can get someone's name off of a car that is ruining the credit of the person that no longer has the car?

My response:

No, there isn't. In order to get your name off of the loan, the loan must either be paid in full, or the vehicle needs to be refinanced. If neither of those can be accomplished, then you're stuck.

This should have been handled during the divorce. Since it sounds like it wasn't, then you'll just have to bite the bullet and take the hits.
