What is the name of your state? Texas
I moved out after giving my roommate 30 days notice, due to the unhealthy living conditions caused by her pets and after moving in her boyfriend. I was to return in 2 weeks to get my personal belongings but they were out of town when i came by, The next week I got a letter saying that I abandoned my property and she was holding them for rent(paid up) elec( unknown due to no bill) and water ( paid up). Now were going to samll claims court and she has all my papers. what can i do?

*** Show up at court at the time/date of the hearing and present your 'case'. The court will then decide.
