What is the name of your state?Indiana
My son received a ticket in February, he was going 71 in a 55. He did the deferment option. This took place in Porter County.
Today he received a ticket in Marshall County going 61 in a 40. He says he was coming into a town slowing down from a 55 mph and the officer followed him for awhile and then ticketed him. He would like to fight the ticket. Should he? If the violation occurs in two different counties what happens with the deferment? If you fight a ticket and lose do you then pay the ticket plus court costs? Thanks for your help, by the way he's lost his keys for a month and must pay all fines himself!
