What is the name of your state? VA
Hi ,
I was stopped by cop at 74mph in a 55mph zone in NC.Actually I was looking for a exit
and in between the speend limit changed from 70 to 55 and I did not noticed that.
I told the same to the cop also and he asked me to call the number and explain the situation.
Now I am worried what to do next :
1) Shall I hire a lawyer..
2) Call the number of Magistrate and explain him the situation
I want to know if I hire a lawyer how much will it cost me and will he be of any use as I accepted the cop my spped limit.
and if I call the magistrate what will be the fine and how will it effect my insurance.
Please suggest ...I have clean history.. no other driving violation so far.
My friend suggested me that If I call the magistrate and ask him that I will take the
online exam and pay the fine the the points won't add to my insurance record...
Please let me how to proceed.
