What is the name of your state? Ohio
My mother's live in boyfriend of five years passed away without a will. His children are trying to take things out of the house, including a grill that my mother purchased. His daughter said that the grill had been put on the assessors list so they had to take it. When the assessor came to the house my mother did not go through the stuff with him, her boyfriends daughter did, so she does not know what was put on the list. How would they be able to decide whose stuff was whose without her telling them? They knew that she bought the grill, I let them know. There is a bedroom suite that was given to my mom and her boyfriend from his mother, who would this belong to. They purchased everything after they moved in together. Please, help us so we can help her.
