What is the name of your state? nevada

My son was fired form his job after a background investigation came back from an Axciom. The background investigation was incorrect.. They ran his name and not social security number. It stated he had been arrested and jailed for 4 years for possesion and sale of narcotics. He was called in to their office and fire immediately. He was told that they matched social security, name and date of birth and all 3 matched perfectly.

They immediately called his temp company who also fired him. We went to the court house printed the the arrest records with his name on it, and the next pages of course showed a different social security number, height, weight, etc. Then went to the police dept. and ran a background check and it was clear.

We got it straightened out with the temp company but the company he was working for (#2)refuses to look at any of the information. We are at a loss what do we do?

We called Axciom and they keep saying they ran his social security number and matched it up which we know is untrue. He just got out of the military with an honorable discharge. He couldnt have gone to jail and the person who comitted the crime was killed in prison. This is so insane. The person who died had the same exact first middle and last name.

Please help what do we do, he was working in accounting and he is afraid that since they fired him if he gets another job they will call them and they will check why he left. And they will say he was fired. We can't seem to get this resolved.

Isnt what Axciom did unethical did , do we have a case? All he wants is his job back. And this put behind him. but if he cant get it resolved, then can he sue Axciom for unethical reporting ?This has been nightmare
