I got a speeding and careless driving ticket on the New Jersey Turnpike.

I would like to know if anyone knows if any points would be issue to my to Maryland license.

In Maryland, as long as the out-of-state violations are not considered a "serious violation" (speeding and reckless driving are not), then points will not be assessed. This is covered in the Drivers License Compact.... and clarified in Article IV at the following:

Also, if you are thinking of simply ignoring the NY ticket, don't. Both states are members of the 'Non Resident Violators Compact' and NY will notify Maryland of your outstanding ticket (and FTA arrest warrant) if you don't take care of it. For more, go to:
