I have been married 15 months. My husband retired from teaching after 32 years , just this past June. He wants a divorce. Am I entitled to any of his pension?

Do u have an attorney?? First, get one if u dont, Second, dont sign off on anything such as 401K plan or pension. You should be entitled to at least half, unless u signed a per- nuptual agreement. Good Luck!!!

Wrong. She would not, in any state (that I know) be entitled to half of a 32 year pension for just 15 months marriage.

Psst.. I am not an attorney, and even if I was, I would not tell you. What I am giving you is not legal advice in anyway. For proper legal advice, retain a person who openly admits they are an attorney.

What kind of person wants to rob a hard-working educator of his life-long pension just because they are divorcing? You haven't even been together long enough to really settle into a routine!

(scratch head)

Oh, well...
