New York... About a month ago I purchased a boat from a private seller. I am 17... I would like to return the boat to the seller and get my money back. Is this at all possible? The seller made out the receipt only to "Michael"... I did register the boat already...

My response:

Yes, you can rescind the contract up to your 18th birth date. When the seller refuses, then you'll have to sue in Small Claims court.
