What is the name of your state? CA, Nevada County, Grass Valley (If it matters for the sake of this post.)

Could anyone point me in the right direction to look up easements in regard to how far from the property line a residence must be?

Thanks,
Gryn

I might also suggest double checking the E&R documents in the title policy. Sometimes the set-back requirements in a subdivision are MORE restricted than the municipal building codes require.

Thanks nextwife... We are actually in an extremely rural area, and my neighbor is building rather close to the line... I could probably measure it with a yard stick!

Thanks for everybody's help!
