What is the name of your state?I'm in California and have been in a two and a half year divorce battle. I owened my home previous to marriage (to mail order bride from China) and was pressured into putting her name on title by her. My lawyer has argued in court pertaining to this law (with no rebutle) that states, if one person has something to gain and putting "undue influence" on the other, in a contract (house deed), then the contract is void in a divorce. My question, does this law have a good chance of wining in court? My attorny is not sure how the decission will go. I am currently waiting for the decission date.
Thanks for any help.
