What is the name of your state? GA

when a phonorecord (cd) has been completed and you wish to obtain copyright I am aware that you should submit from sr for the sound recording and form pa for the lyrics. for form pa should you submit a form for each song individually and can you list them all on one form. if the later is done does that mean that they do not have their own individual copyrights. when it comes to the music producers contribution to the project (the music behind the lyics or the "beat" in hip-hip terms behind the lyrics) then how do you register the "beat"? do you use a form pa with just each beat by itself or do you combine it with the pa for the lyrics and identify both the beat creator and the lyrical creator?

in instances where the "beat"/music is a work for hire but the producer is not an employee of the record label, does the work fall under the second section of the doctrine as a work for hire as a work specially ordered or commissioned for use as a contribuion to a collective work? and in that instance does the record company then become the owner of the (c) in the music.

thanks,
creative girl
