What is the name of your state? Washington
We have maintained a parking strip the length of 2 cars for 21 years. We believe according to adverse posession we are entitled to this land. The owner of 2 years has recently discovered this is her property. She sent us a registered letter stating her intention to use this land. We went to talk and asked if we could working something out. Her reply was parking cars on this property and erecting fence posts. We since sent a letter asking to work with us and she has not replied. Do we have a chance of legally obtaining this property?

adverse possession

The parking strip is asphalt extended by us, basketball hoot installed by us, down as easment, not public property. It is in front of our property to the side of her property. The attorney we saw says it is classic adverse possession case. No owner for the past 21 years has ever believed this property was theirs. Adverse possession or not???
