What is the name of your state? California.

My business partner and I have plans on starting up an internet porn site. We plan to do the filming and marketing ourselves. We want to know if there is anything we would need to do to not be confused with anything related to prostitution. Or anything else that might be illegal. If you can think of any legal problems that we might run into please include them in your replies.

Thanks!

If you're talking about my other post, than I'd like to point out that they are asking completely different questions. I'd appreciate if someone would still answer the questions in my original post :)

Thanks

Okay, lets try this again......
Anyone who is planning on starting a business, especially one that has lots of 'opportunity' for legal challenges like the 'porn' business, needs to cultivate a solid attorney-client relationship. As such, trying to get legal services for that type of business for FREE or on the cheap, is not going to be beneficial to you. And if you can't afford the $500 or so to have a LONG talk with an attorney who can draw up contracts, etc. (as you are needing), shouldn't be considering getting into the 'business'.

So, your choice... do this right, or say the hell with the law and join those guys that drive around in a van and 'hire' strippers to videotape and sell on the internet.

*cough*bangbus*cough*

I'm almost embarrassed to even know what that is, but hey the internet is a many splend... *ahem* I mean sordid things. 5 years, and god knows how many hours spent on the net... you're bound to be violated eventually, and I'm no exception to the rule. ha ha!!
