My father had past away May 2003, I still have not heard anything regarding his will. How do I either get a copy of it or find out what is going on. He girlfriend is still living in his house and nobody in the family knows what is going on. I have been in contact with my family and nobody knows. Please help me try to find out what to do. Thanks

Do you know that there was a will?? In either case, you can contact the probate court in the county where he lived and find out if a file has been opened. If not, you can certainly ask to me made executrix (personal representative) and begin the probate process.
You might also want to talk with a local probate attorney, under a low or no cost referral from your county or state bar association.

If you don't know how to contact the probate court for that county, please mention the name of the city where he died so I can look up the court address and phone number for you.
